Arlene Dynes, 87, passed away on April 29, 2025 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado surrounded by her loving children. Arlene was born in Ottawa, Canada to Ray and Gladys Doody.
Arlene was devoted to her family and immensely proud of her children. She loved animals, especially her beloved pets. She enjoyed reading, solving puzzles, and bowling. She was known for her generous heart, feisty spirit, and quirky humor. She will be missed by many.
Arlene is survived by her son, Steve (Lynn); daughters, Karen, Barb (Dan), Debbie (Jim), and Susan (Chip); grandchildren, Jessica (Chris), Jennifer (Tim), Cory (Chanel), Tasha, Cole (Lauren), and Mason; and great-grandchildren, Timmy, Aiden, Ethan, Jake, Liam, Landon, Cassius, Caine, and Capri.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Joan Maloney, former husband Thomas K. Dynes, and longtime companion Richard Gast.
Special thanks to her friends and the staff at Mountain Vista Senior Living, Compassus hospice care and her friends at St. James Episcopal Church.
