Arlene J. Frankenfield, 92, formerly of 1940 Walbert Ave. Allentown, passed away on July 26, 2025 at Sacred Heart Senior Living by the Creek, Northampton. She was the wife of the late David G. Frankenfield. Arlene co-owned and operated Dave's Paint Center in Allentown with her late husband from 1955 until retiring in 1995. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Howard O. and Lottie E. (Heller) Schiffer. Arlene was a 1950 graduate of Parkland High School. She was a member of Jordan United Church of Christ in Allentown. At the church, she was a former Sunday School teacher and a choir member. Arlene was a member of the Parkland Art League and she loved sewing, crocheting and arts and crafts. Survivors: Sons: David G. Frankenfield II and his wife Karen of Coplay, Darryl A. Frankenfield and his wife Carmen of Wescosville and Jeffrey P. Frankenfield and his wife Debra of Whitehall, Brother: David Schiffer and his wife Sandra of Center Valley, 3 Granddaughters, Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Brothers: Clarence and his wife Althea and Calvin and his wife Virginia. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 2 P.M. at Jordan U.C.C. 1837 Church Road Allentown. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. in the Church. Interment: Jordan U.C.C. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Jordan U.C.C. 1837 Church Rd. Allentown, PA 18104.

Arlene was a wonderful and an amazing person. I loved seeing the rocks that she painted and I am glad that I had gotten to be around her for the years I spent around her.
