Arlene Koehn Obituary

Arlene was a member of the Meridian Church of God in Christ, Mennonite in rural Hesston.
She was united in marriage to Willis M. Koehn on March 25, 1951, at Greensburg, Kansas. He passed away in 2023. They shared over 72 years of marriage.
Arlene was a devoted homemaker.
She is survived by her; daughters, Charmaine (Alvin) Wedel of Fulton, Kentucky, and Shana Walker of Columbus, Mississippi; daughter-in-law Kris Koehn, Cedar Hill, TX; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandsons; two sisters-in-law, Helen Unruh of Moundridge, and June (Ken) Schoonover of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and two brothers-in-law, LaVern Schmidt of Montezuma and Orlan Becker, Moundridge; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents; husband Willis; son, Mark Anthony Koehn; brothers, Lee, Bill and Stan Giesel; and a sister, Betty Martens.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Meridian Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, rural Hesston. Burial will follow at the Lone Tree Church Cemetery, rural Galva. The family will greet friends Saturday, August 23 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Prayer Corner in care of Moundridge Funeral Home, PO Box 410, Moundridge, KS 67107.
