Mrs. Arlene Morrison Pace, age 73, of Bremen, Georgia, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025.
Mrs. Pace was born in Randolph County, Alabama, on December 25, 1951, to the late William Cranston Morrison and the late Sara Ruth Stillwell Morrison. She was employed as a senior secretary at the University of West Georgia and was a member of Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church in Newell, Alabama.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Charles A. Pace; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Brandy Pugh; grandchildren, Carly Pugh, Lucas Pugh, Lauren Stephens, and Logan Stephens; sister, Ann Morrison; extended family members, Brenda Buffington and family, Patricia Vento and family, Donald Bennett and family; and several close friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jane Patterson; and her aunt, Louise Hall Smith.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 29, 2025 at 10 AM -11 AM (CST) at Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church, 81 County Road 421, Newell, Alabama. Funeral service will follow at 11 AM (CST) with Pastor Brian Smith officiating.
Interment will be in the Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Heath Mitchell, Chris Rampy, Wes Rampy, Matt Smith, Marc Smith, and Randy Hill serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made be made to Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church, 81 County Road 421, Newell, Alabama 36280.
