Arlene Marie Siler, born on March 13, 1932, in Indianapolis, Indiana, departed this world on August 28, 2025, leaving behind a treasured legacy of love and warmth. Known for her easy-going nature, Arlene cherished the moments spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. Her life was defined by a deep appreciation for family and the joy that they brought her.

A devoted mother to her children, Brian Siler, Danielle Siler, Linda (Catalin) Nicolescu, and Sherri (Brad) Arnold, Arlene took great pride in the accomplishments of her family. She was also a doting grandmother to Jesse (Rhika) Brown, Kieth (Jessica) Siler, Michael (Kelly) Siler, Briana Durbin, Leo Durbin, Leah (Garrett) Smitley, and Hollice (AJ) Hartman, as well as a proud great-grandmother to four great-grandchildren who illuminated her life with happiness.

In addition to her family ties, Arlene was known for her passions and interests. As a dedicated Colts fan, she savored every moment of the game, and she enjoyed not only watching but also playing golf. Her membership at the Indian Lake Golf Club brought her immense joy, where she excelled enough to achieve a notable hole-in-one at Fort Benjamin Harrison Golf Course. Her competitive spirit also shone brightly with a perfect 300 bowling game, marking her as a remarkable athlete in her own right. She even won her golf club's ladies championship when she was 70 years young, beating out her competitor who was 20 years her junior!

Arlene was married to her late husband, Daniel W. Siler, for 64 wonderful years. The love they shared was evident in their years together, shaping a warm and loving home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vance and Hollice Pollard, and her sister, Shirley Young, all of whom she remembered fondly.

Arlene’s life will be honored at Flanner Buchanan- Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis, Indiana. Friends and family are invited to gather for a visitation on September 3, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, followed by a funeral service from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
