Arlette Albright Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Graniteville on Mar. 3, 2026.
Mrs. Arlette Albright, 90, beloved wife of the late Mr. Stephen D. Albright, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 1, 2026, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, South Carolina 29829. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Historic Graniteville Cemetery.

Born in Marseille, France, Arlette was the cherished daughter of the late Jean Collombet and Louise Rose Fogliette Collombet. She was a devoted member of Midland Valley Community Church of the Nazarene.

Arlette was known for her warm heart and generous spirit. She was an exceptional cook and especially talented baker, delighting family and friends with meals made from scratch and desserts prepared with love. A gifted seamstress, she also crocheted and knitted beautiful handmade pieces. Over the years, she lovingly cared for seventeen children, and each child in her family received a handmade blanket-thoughtfully crafted and given as a lasting expression of her love.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Claude Collombet of Marinetta, France; Diego Albright (Valerie) of Aiken, South Carolina; Frances Toole of Graniteville, South Carolina; and John Albright (Rebecca) of Graniteville, South Carolina; her siblings, Andrea Gilbert and Bernard Gilbert, of France; seven grandchildren, Savon Collombet, Gary Collombet, Tabitha Albright, Cheyene Woodward, William Lott, Matthew Lott (Stephanie), and Marc Clifford (Kimberly); and her beloved great-grandchildren, Sandro Collombet, Ted Collombet, Leslie Collombet, Olivia Grace Lott, Ryan Lott, Jacob Lott, Caleb Lott, Nicole Toole (Lindsey), Steven Clifford, Sarah Clifford, and Ashton Perry.

In addition to her husband and parents, Arlette was preceded in death by her siblings, Andrea Collombet and Claudette Collombet, son-in-law, Dewey Toole, and her lifelong friend, Cora Catherine Williams.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society in her memory.
