Arlin Dennis Rothe

Arlin D. Rothe, age 77, went home to his Lord in Heaven on August 28, 2024. He was born to the late Merle and Ione (Anderson) Rothe on April 2nd, 1947, in Oshkosh. Arlin married Paula Doolittle in 1982.

Arlin worked as a machinist at Leach Co., where he dedicated 23 years of his life. Arlin went on to receive an Associate's Degree, where he began working as a Registered Nurse in long term care facilities.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Arlin devoted his time and energy to serving his community as the President of Victory Valley Church Inc. for River of Life Church from 2017 until present day. Arlin's commitment to his faith led him to serve as an elder for 5 years, and his profound relationship with Christ was vital to him, inspiring his mission to guide others towards Salvation.

Arlin's impact on the community and his loved ones is immeasurable, as he leaves behind a legacy of compassion, dedication, and unwavering faith. He was a loving spouse to Paula, and their bond was a testament to the strength of their partnership.

Arlin is survived by his loving wife, Paula; sons, Michael (Cindy) and Matthew (Kari) Rothe; siblings, Carla Jefferis, Larry (Carol), Fred (Deanna), Darrell (Jean) Rothe, Doris Fellwock, Karen (Lorenz) Rangeloff, Neil (Sue) and Leonard (Sue) Rothe, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his sisters-in-law, Glenna and Sandra Rothe.

In addition to his parents, Arlin was preceded in death by his daughter, Meredith; granddaughter, Meghan; siblings, Richard Rothe, Marlene (David) Halsey, Ron Rothe; and brothers-in-law, David Halsey, Donald Fellwock, Skip Jefferis and William Jones. He was further preceded by Carla Koehn.

A funeral service for Arlin will be held at River of Life Church (440 W South Park Ave) on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Noon. Pastor David Chapin will be officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 10AM until the time of service. A burial will take place at Lake View Memorial Park.
