Armetha Rose Bell of Virginia Beach, VA, has gone to be with our heavenly Father on, August 25, 2025 after a peaceful brief stay at her home in hospice care. Armetha was born on March 2, 1943, in Sidney, Ohio to her late mother Alice Mae Elliott and father Von Elton Bell. Armetha built a long life in Virginia Beach, retiring 20 years from Sears as well as 35 years from Virginia Beach City School System. She will be remembered for her dedication to family, hard work ethic as well as her fantastic creativity. She is preceded in death by her only sibling, Ruth "Ruthie" Irene Pickeing, son, Richard "Rick" Petersimes and daughter, Athena Irene Petersimes. Armetha is survived by her son, Stephen Petersimes and daughter, Marcella Skipper of Virginia Beach, grandchildren, Krislynn, Bryan, Melissa and Zak, as well as grandchild William and many family members in Ohio.

Praying God will comfort your heart at this difficult time. I will miss her beautiful smile and sparking eyes. She was such a joy to be around & I´m thankful for the times we´ve shared. She will be missed but we will all be together again one day!
