It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, mother, grandmother and friend Armida Lozoya Ramirez, who called to be with our Lord and Savior on August 16th, 2025.

Armida was born on September 5, 1964, to Hilda Elena and Jesus Lozoya in Cd. Juarez, Chih. Mexico.

Armida leaves behind a legacy built with love, loyalty, perseverance, and honesty. From a very young age she displayed an interest in learning as she would spend hours upon hours reading and broadening her knowledge in many different subjects. She specifically developed a desire to help people in many different ways. She pursued a career in nursing which she obtained later in her life. Her lifelong dream of helping others would be brought to fruition, as she began her service in a healthcare clinic. Throughout her career she touched many lives. Her years of services were a badge of honor for her, especially because she completed every task with heart, patience and precision.

Although Armida loved her career and helping others, there were other things she enjoyed as well. Armida was always up for a trip and loved seeing new places. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed telling them stories of her childhood. her grandchildren loved hearing these stories and will greatly miss them.

We are comforted with knowing that she has now been reunited with her parents, husband and daughter. Whom we are sure she has missed all these years.

Armida is survived by her 2 sons, Roy Ramirez (Isabel), and Marco A. Ramirez. Her grandchildren and biggest loves Rogelio Daniel Ramirez and Abraham Jesus Ramirez. her siblings Armando Lozoya, Jesus Lozoya Jr. (Kathy), and Nancie Fierro (Raymond). A very special cousin who cared for her during her toughest times, Eva (Monina) Alcantar, and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Rogelio M. Ramirez, mother Hilda Elena Lozoya, Father Jesus Lozoya and daughter Alejandra Maria Ramirez.

Serving as casket bearers will be Roy Ramirez, Marco A. Ramirez, Rogelio Daniel Ramirez, Jesus Lozoya Jr., Raymond M. Fierro and Raymond "Boy" A. Fierro Jr.

Services have been entrusted to La Paz-Grahams Funeral Home and are scheduled on August 25th, 2025, as follows: Rosary 09:30 am at La Paz Grahams Funeral Home 555 W. Amador Ave Las Cruces, NM. Mass to follow at 11:00 am to be held at Our Lady of Health Catholic Church 1178 N. Mesquite St. Las Cruces, NM.

My deepest sympathy to all her family. We attended nursing school together and were in many classes, labs and study groups. She was a wonderful, funny, kind person. I am saddened by her passings.
