Armin P. Koepp, age 92, of Shakopee, MN, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Friendship Manor Nursing Home in Shakopee.
Armin was born on November 8, 1933, in Blakely Township, MN, the son of Clarence and Ann (Blaha) Koepp.
Armin was a proud veteran of the United States Airforce. He served two enlistments totaling eight years during which he was a crew chief and oxygen plant operator. He served states-side and finished his service in Japan.
He married the love of his life, Irene Holmquist, on July 1, 1954. They were blessed with four children.
Armin worked for 30 years at Air Products & Chemicals in Shakopee, and at his retirement had been serving as the Plant Manager. He operated the old Shell Station on 169 in Belle Plaine in between his Airforce enlistments.
He enjoyed fishing and camping with his family, bowling and traveling in his RV. When retired he loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and extended family.
Armin is survived by his wife of 71 years, Irene; children, Armin Jr. (Connie), Gary, Vicki (Dick) Theis and Kristi Larson; grandchildren, Lindsey (Chad) Bosworth, Casandra (Michael) Hill, Stacy (Asa Lafferty) Frazee, Crystal Lueck, Justin Koepp, Adam Theis, Chris Theis, Erin Theis, Justin (Cora Munsinger) Theis, Natalie (Jacob) Benz, Grant Larson; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild (and 1 on the way); brothers Wesley and Bill Koepp, sisters Sana Rose Krenik, Lynette Koepp and Janel Schmidt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence, Ann and Rosella Koepp; granddaughter Amanda Nesemeier, son-in-law Steve Larson; brothers Frederick, Earl, Norman and Rodney Koepp, sister Alverna Laabs.
Armin's family expresses their gratitude to all of his compassionate caregivers, especially Rosae, Angela and Ulga of BrightStar, Friendship Manor and Allina Hospice.
Visitation Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m., at St. John's Lutheran Church, 119 – 8th Avenue West, Shakopee; followed by Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. Military Honors will be provided by the Shakopee Veterans Honor Guard. Luncheon to follow.
