Arnold Brookover Jr, 83, of Moulton, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 09, 2025 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Bro. Scott Delashaw officiating. Burial will be at Burningtree Memorial Garden.
Arnold was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church where he drove church bus #7 for many years. He had very fond memories of bringing so many adults and children to church and impacting their lives. After retiring from Wolverine, Arnold enjoyed working on his farm, especially tractor work when he wasn't watching Alabama, the San Francisco 49'ers and NASCAR.
Survivors include his children, A. Wayne (Debbie) Brookover, and Eddie W. Brookover; grandchildren, Joshua Brookover, Austin Brookover, Allie Brookover, and BreAnna Brookover; half-sister, Faye and several other extended family.
Arnold was preceded in death by his son, Kevin McCoy Brookover.
Pallbearers will be Allen Wilson, Doyle Little, Dillan Sawyer, Greg "Flash" Blankenship, Keith Lanier, Heath Sawyer, and Tony Scott.
The family extends special thanks to Arnold's caretaker, Stephanie Lanier, Dillan Sawyer, Dr. Boyles, and his hospice nurses and staff.
