Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Brother
Arnold Striano, 73, of Nutley, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, with his family by his side after a sudden illness. Born in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Luigi and Catherine (Pisapia) Striano. Arnold spent his career with Ricoh, Inc.
Arnold is survived by his beloved wife, Cynthia (Cindy) Lee Striano, and his faithful dog, Phoebe; his daughter, Allison Sceppaguercio, her husband, Patrick, their son, Cory, a much-anticipated granddaughter on the way, and their dog, Rosie; his son, Brendan Striano, his wife, Rebecca Gaffney, and their dog, Winnie; his brother, John Striano, and his wife, Marge; as well as countless friends whom he adored.
Arnold's greatest joy was time spent with the people he loved. He was happiest sharing good times, stories, and laughter with family and friends. He could often be found tackling renovations and repairs-always eager to lend a hand to his wife and children. His grandson, Cory, was the light of his life and gave him four years of immeasurable joy.
Arnold embraced every adventure, savoring great food, good wine, a fine cigar, and, above all, the company of those dear to him. He was-and will always remain-the rock of his family.
He could not have been more proud of his children and their spouses, loving Patrick and Rebecca as if they were his own.
The funeral will be from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley, 9:00 a.m, Monday, December 15, 2025.
The funeral service will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Episcopal Church, Nutley.
The interment will follow at Mount Hebron Cemetery, Montclair.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday, December 14th from 2:00PM – 6:00PM.
