It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Micha at the age of 90. She was the beloved wife of Jorge E. Hernandez. Micha leaves behind 6 children: George Hernandez, Elizabeth (Lencho Medina) Hernandez, JoAnn (Greg) Davis, Henry (Mitzi) Hernandez, Hector (Laurie) Hernandez and Micha (Alfredo) Villarreal. She was a loving grandmother (16), great-grandmother (26), and great-great grandmother (2). She cherished her family and lived a joyful life. Her kindness touched everyone she met. She took pride in watching her family grow and thrive, and she was always there to celebrate every milestone. Her light will continue to shine in our hearts forever. Though the family is deeply saddened by her loss, we are comforted by the memories of her incredible life. She will be forever missed.
To honor her memory, we ask those attending the services to wear her favorite color, red, and, in true fashion, wear a touch of lipstick-just as she loved to do. Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 9:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00pm on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Perches Funeral Home East, 2280 Joe Battle Blvd, El Paso, Texas 79938. Mass of a Christian Burial will be said at 12:30pm on Friday, October 18, 2024 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1050 N. Clark Dr., El Paso, Texas 79905. Committal Service will follow at 2:00pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson, El Paso, Texas 79906. Please sign the families online register book at www.perchesfuneralhomes.com.
