Arther Lee Stephens, born November 17, 1950, died on March 8, 2026. He was 75 years old and a Southern Baptist. He was born in a barn in DesArc, Arkansas. He worked many years setting tile in a lot of places. He was loved by many.
He was preceded in death by his wife Susie Marie Stephens. Also his mother, father, one sister, and five brothers. He leaves behind two sisters, one brother, daughter and husband Marsha McArtor (Kevin) one son Donald Stephens and wife (Joann). Seven grandsons Danny Ervin III, Matt McArtor, Seth Stephens, Damain Stephens, Christopher Stephens, Josh Stephens and Charles McArtor and one granddaughter Miracle Bell. He also leaves behind 17 great grandchildren, and his best friend Steve and Leah James. He was in the Beebe Retirement Center and they loved him there aka Mr. Smiley.
Visitation will be held at Cole Funeral Home on Thursday March 12, 2026 at 11:00-2:00 p.m. Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel followed by an interment at Ellis Chapel Cemetery.
