Arthur Aros Obituary

Arthur L. Aros, 76, of Valparaiso, IN passed into eternal peace on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.
He is survived by his loving wife Judith Aros of Valparaiso; son Jon (Becki) Aros of Valparaiso; daughter Kristin (Thomas) Turner of Parkville, MO; granddaughters Siobhan and Saoirse Turner; and sisters Charlene and Arlene of Arizona.
Visitation services will be held Friday, December 20, 2024, from 3-8 pm at the Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 2828 Highway Ave, Highland, IN and on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 11:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 pm at Our Lady of Grace Church in Highland. Burial will be private.
Mr. Aros was a USAF military veteran and lifelong resident of Northwest Indiana and a member of Our Lady of Grace Church. He retired from the USPS after 38 years. He did training for HD Supply and with a passion for education he taught at Prairie State College and Ivy Tech College, where he became Professor Adjunct.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude’s, Wounded Warriors, Humane Society, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
