Arthur Bond, 96, passed peacefully at this Palm Harbor, FL home on January 23, 2026.

He was born on October 26, 1929 to predeceased Arthur and Mary (McWhorter) Bond.

He loved helping people, reading the Bible and history. He enjoyed flying an airplane, playing guitar, fishing and camping. He was a storyteller and loved telling stories to his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He worked at Champion International Paper in Hamilton, Ohio for 44 years. During his tenure he worked as a trimmer and long haul truck driver.

He was a dedicated Deacon at the Church of God of the Union Assembly in Hamilton, Ohio.

Survived by, the love of his life, Nola (York) Bond, they were married on his birthday, October 26, 1946, and were together for 79 years, his daughter Sharon (Bond) Miller of Palm Harbor, FL, 2 granddaughters Tina Akins (Charlie) of Dalton, GA and Lisa Miller of Knoxville, TN, 7 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by 4 brothers Hobart, Delbert, Odus, and Roy and 3 sisters Lucy Bolson, Reva Whited, and Geraldine Kent.

Pallbearers are Creston Dize, Mark Morales, Tim Beach, Mike Trumbo, Larry Witters, and Roger Weible. Honorary Pallbearers are Great Grandsons Brady and Jordan Akins.

Services will be held at the chapel at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens, 1750 Curlew Rd, Palm Harbor, FL 34683 on Friday January 30th, 2026 with visitation from 2:00pm to 3:00pm, services at 3:00pm. Entombment in the mausoleum immediately following.
