Arthur Lee Bosely

Arthur "Lee" Bosely passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025, in Boise, Idaho. He was 79 years old. Lee was born on March 5, 1946, in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from Bel Air High School in Bel Air, Maryland, with the Class of 1964. He later earned a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from the University of Delaware in 1976. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from January 1966 to December 1967, completing several tours in Vietnam. Following his military service, Lee worked for Boeing Aircraft Company in Everett, Washington. He was involved in the computer design of the Boeing 747 and 767 during his years with the company. Upon his retirement, Lee and his wife Peggy moved to Boise, Idaho, to be near their family. He fully embraced his new chapter of lifeenjoying long walks and bike rides along Boises trails, discovering a passion for cooking, and becoming a generous host known for his outstanding meals. A devoted fantasy sports enthusiast, Lee approached the hobby like a true engineertracking his teams with detailed spreadsheets and competitive spirit. Lee had deep love and pride for his family and friends. He will be remembered for his warmth, intelligence, and unforgettable sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Rozell Bosely, and his grandparents, Arthur and Caroline Bosely. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Peggy Bosely; his sons, Sean (Lisa) Bosely and Brian Bosely; his grandson, Scott Bosely (Chloe); and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. There will be no formal services. A gathering of friends and family to celebrate Lees life will be held at a later date. If you wish to honor Lee, the family requests donations be made to the Boise VA Volunteer Services, 500 West Fort Street, Boise, Idaho, 83702, with a memo noted 'hospice,' since they took such wonderful care of him in his final days. Rest in peace, Lee. You will be deeply missed.
