Arthur Conrad Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 15, 2025.
Arthur B. Conrad, 91, passed away at home on September 8, 2025, after a short battle with cancer.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Dorothy (nee Jankowski) and seven children Therese, Elaine (Tom) Mohaupt, Rosemary (Roy) Sandoval, Joseph Conrad, Lorry (Randy) Eldien, Andrea (Jeff) Robinson and John (Shelly) Conrad and 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

He is predeceased by a son Jacob and two daughters, Antoinette and Dorothy.

Born in Winona, Minnesota, Dr. Conrad graduated from Notre Dame in 1954 at the age of 20. He attended medical school at Marquette Medical School where he met the love of his life, Dorothy. He was a Vietnam war veteran, serving in the medical corps. He practiced in Milwaukee and Port Washington as a pathologist for many years. He retired in 1991 and relocated to Delafield and then Pewaukee.

He was a devout Catholic, active member of his parish communities. He had many and varied interests including gardening, baking, and reading. He will forever be remembered for his devotion not only to his faith but to his family. In many ways a singular force of nature with an infinite capacity to live quietly loud always willing to help, always willing to serve, and always present. A life well lived to be sure and a life that will continually live in our hearts, minds, and souls.

Visitation from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, with service at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Queen of Apostles Church, N35W23360 Capitol Drive, Pewaukee, Wisconsin. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
