Arthur (Art) Roy Crocfer was born to Robert and Jeanette Crocfer on August 27th, 1940 and passed away peacefully on September 4th, 2025 at the Intermountain Health Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton CO surrounded by loved ones. Art was 85 years old. He was preceded in death by his son Robert Crocfer, and he is survived by his sons and daughters, Betty Crocfer, Brian Crocfer, Brenda Harding, Bruce Crocfer his long time significant other Gail Bates, and his grandchildren Amanda, Alyssa and Andrew, and numerous siblings.
Art served his country in the US Army at the height of the Cold War. After his honorable discharge he worked with the Public Utilities in the water and wastewater fields receiving ‘A’ certificates in both fields.
Military honors will be held at the Fort Logan National Cemetery at 1:00 PM on Monday September 22nd, 2025. The entrance is located at 4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236. Please see the map below for reference to Staging Area "C". Please arrive at 12:45PM. Please remain in your vehicle as a representative from Fort Logan will lead us in a procession to the appropriate pavilion center. There will be a celebration of life afterwards at VFW Post 9644 located at 2680 W Hampden Ave, Sheridan, CO 80110.
