A graduate of Mobile County Training School in 1965, Arthur Lee joined the United States Air Force where he proudly served his country with distinction. Upon his honorable discharge from military service, Arthur Lee moved to Detroit (Michigan) to work for Chrysler Motors where he labored for over thirty years. Retiring in 1999, he moved back home to Mobile, as he said it, "to live my retired life!"
Arthur Lee was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Edward Ellis and Leroy Ellis; sister, Dorothy
Goldsmith; and nephews, Karlos Russell and Ricky Ellis.
Arthur Lee is survived by his son, Michael Ellis; sister, Carlee Ellis Russell, nieces, Sherran Harris, LaTice Lewis, Tamara Callier, Kemichelle Ellis Taylor, and Kanobia (DeKarlos) Blackmon; nephews, Andre Harris, DeShawn Harris, and Darius Goldsmith; four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
