Arthur W. "Swede" Erickson, 90, of Loudon, NH, formerly of East Boston, MA, passed on March 7, 2025 surrounded by his family.
Born May 23, 1934, he was the son of Arthur and Emma (Hodgkins) Erickson. He served in the US Navy aboard the USS Hickox DD673. He also served in the US Air Force.
After his service to his country, he was proud to again serve his community as a Police Officer in the City of Boston.
Arthur’s strongest pride was in his family and to honor his country.
He was predeceased by his brother Ronald Erickson.
Family members include his wife, Maria (Capone) Erickson; his daughter, Donna and her husband Scott Merrill; his son, Michael; granddaughter, Leah and her husband Christian; his sister, Sandra Frazer and her husband Larry; nephews and nieces.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday, March 11th from 10 to 11:30 am, followed by a brief service in Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, Manchester. Burial will follow in the NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
