Arthur S. "Art" Fortuna

Arthur S. Fortuna, 72, residing in Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon, April 9, 2025 at home.
Art was born on January 22, 1953 in Sandusky, OH to the late Edwin and Elizabeth (Gurtz) Fortuna.
Art retired from Wagner Quarry as a Welder after many years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, sharing his wisdom, chatting it up with his friends, visiting new places, but most of all spending time with his family and friends.
Art is survived by his three daughters, Melissa Fortuna of Huron, Jessica Fortuna of Huron, and Laurel Wlodarsky of Toledo; son, Mikal Wlodarsky of Milan. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Damien, Devin, Isaiah and Xavier and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A Celebration of Art's Life will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. In honor of Art's love for the outdoors and passion for hunting, the family invites everyone attending the calling hours to wear hunting gear or camo clothing. He spent some of his happiest days in the woods, and dressing in this way will be a special tribute to his memory and the life he lived so fully.
