Arthur George Frost, Jr.
George, age 92, passed away June 1, 2025 in Dallas, Texas. He was born December 14, 1932 in Amarillo, Texas to Arthur George Frost and Juanita Fern (Hilton) Frost.
Beverly Sharon (Carlisle) Frost, wife of 46 years, preceded George in death in 2004.
He is survived by his children, Kathy Bruce (Ken) of Sebring, Florida, Joan McGahan (Cody) of Lavon, Texas and Patrick Frost (Amy) of Fate, Texas; his grandchildren, Kristi Bruce, Joshua McGahan (Alyssa), Shawn Bruce, Megan Harris (Steven), Jackie Bruce (Mila), Zachary Frost (Ana) and Belle Frost; his great-grandchildren, Clayton Mason, Ella Bruce, Olivia Brown and River Bruce, Kody McGahan, Mathew McGahan, Lane Harris, Lucas Harris, and Leigh Harris; and, brothers, Bob Frost (Connie) of DeRidder, Louisiana and Patrick Frost (Peggy) of Amarillo, Texas plus numerous nieces, nephews, and loving relatives and friends.
George is also survived by wife of 16 years, Joanne (Welsh) Frost, Joanne’s son and daughter-in-law Mike and Susan Owens; Joanne’s seven grandchildren (Dacia, Austin, Shea, Nathaniel, Colton, Brooke and Robert); four great-grandchildren (Parker, Owen, Kaylee, and Bryn); and one great great-grandchild (Arthur) who all loved George’s kindness and smiles.
He lived in the North Texas area for over 50 years including Wylie, Farmersville, Fairview (Heritage Ranch) and Dallas (Highlands Springs).
George was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a great friend. His family and friends will miss him greatly.
Services will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church in Plano, Texas located at 2700 W. Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, Texas 75023. Reverend Bradley will be officiating.
A reception will follow the Mass. Graveside service will be at Fitzhugh Cemetery in Lucas, Texas at 1:30 pm following the reception at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
