Arthur Gartman Obituary
Raised in Bristol, Karl graduated from Bristol Eastern High School, and then went on to study at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York where he earned a bachelors degree. He has worked in the food service industry for many years, traveling to several locations around the Country. Since 2018, Karl has worked at HealthCare Services Group as a District Manager.
Karl was an avid cyclist for many years and continued this passion with his children. He also loved spending time at the beach vacationing with the kids at the Outer Banks. The Holidays always meant a trip to the Yankee Candle Store followed by dinner at Goten of Japan. Ever the prankster, Karl loved playing jokes on family and friends. Most of all, though, Karl cherished the time he was able to spend with his children.
Karl is survived by his 5 children, Austin, Victoria, Katelynn, Lucas, and Katherine; two sisters: Karen Lebeau of Westfield, Mass. And Krista Stanhope and husband Bob of Southington: and his former wife Jenny Vidaurre and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Kimberly Gretchen Gartman.
Relatives and friends may call at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, on Sunday, April 6, 2025, between 2 and 4 PM and on Monday between 11 AM and 12 PM. Funeral Services will be held at 12 PM on Monday (April 7, 2025) at Funk Funeral Home followed by burial at West Cemetery, Bristol. Please visit Karls memorial website at www.FunkFuneralHome.com.
