Bessie Gartman Obituary
Funeral services celebrating the life of Bessie L. Gartman will be held Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Rose Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Bro. Bill Crider officiating. Private family graveside will follow at Bistineau Cemetery in Heflin, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Bessie was born on September 13, 1934, in Winnsboro, Louisiana and left this earth on July 5, 2025, in Minden, Louisiana. Bessie was a long-time resident of Minden and was a member of First Baptist Church in Minden. She retired from Spillers Appliance and Furniture after 30 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband Curtis E. Gartman and her son Travis R. Gartman.
She is survived by her son, Curtis W. Gartman and wife Kris of Meridian, Texas; daughter, Sanja Caffey of San Antonio, Texas; grandson, Anthony Gartman of Shreveport; granddaughter, Melisa Rogers of Atlanta, Texas; step grandson, Cody Green of Meridian, Texas; grandson, Alistair Caffey of San Antonio, Texas, and several other grandchildren and great- grandchildren
