Arthur Ghorley Obituary
He is preceded in death by his father and mother: Arthur and Anne Harris, his Mama Louise Millsaps, and his sisters: Donna Ghorley and Sarah Ann Millsaps.
Toby is survived by his loving wife of 53 years: Mary Ghorley, daughters: Jenny (Junior) Johnson, Misty Ghorley, his son: Alan Ghorley, a beloved grandson: Garett Ghorley, four sisters and three brothers, along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Victory Baptist Church with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM. Reverend Chad Hester will be officiating. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 11:00 AM at McMinn Memory Gardens.
Brad Hester, Charles Farner, Nick Daniels, Thomas Brown, David Brown, and Wayne Huckabey will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the Ghorley family requests that you send any donations to the Victory Baptist Church fellowship hall building fund at
P.O. Box 236 Niota, TN 37826.

My last memory of Toby is about two weeks before he passed away I was mowing the yard near the road,I happened to look up and there sat Toby in his truck. He asked how Shirley and I were doing,I replied were doing good ,I asked how he and Mary was doing he replied we are doing good. We started talking about our days when we played softball in ballplay and Tellico. He then said I guess I better go we Love you all and I said good talking with you we love you guys too! "Happy Birthday Toby"!
