Shirlene Dyke Raper, age 82, a native and lifetime resident of McMinn County, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Luther and Lola Mae Bowers Dyke, her husband of 39 years: Daniel Avery Raper, and her siblings: Sue Cline, Willie Ruth Williams, Eva Buckner, Faye Anderson, Trula Dyke, and Ricky Dyke.
Shirlene is survived by her daughter: Dannette Scheuermann, a son: Stephen Raper (Kelli), grandsons: Jayce and Jordan Raper, and a sister: Mary Dyke.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Cochran Cemetery with Reverend Russ Maples officiating.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
If you are unable to attend the service, you are invited to sign the guest registry at www.zieglerfuneralhome.com.
Ziegler Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Shirlene Dyke Raper.
