Arthur Gordon

Arthur Gordon, 99, of Malden, Entered Eternal Rest on Dec 28. 2025.

Arthur was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He spent most of his life in Malden, graduating from Malden High School, in 1944. He married the late Hilda Gordon, also a Malden High School graduate, in 1948, who he was married to for 74 years, until her death in 2022.

Arthur joined the Navy, and served as a medic, officially being released on Independence Day, July 4, 1946. He went on to earn a Degree in Accounting, from Bentley University, where he had Mr. Bentley as a professor. After he graduated college, he worked as an Accountant for many years. Throughout his life, he continued to have a sharp mind, acting as a historian, to even distant relatives.

He was the devoted father to the late Mark Gordon, and his wife Deborah Gordon, Wayne Gordon, and Cheryl & her husband Paul Needleman. He was also a very devoted grandfather to Laurence Gordon, Andrew & his wife Thais Gordon, Alexander Gordon, Joshua Gordon, Susan Needleman, Noah Gordon & his wife Dana Finkle, and a proud great-grandfather to Joaquim Gordon and Jesse Miles Gordon.

Services and Shiva will be held privately.
