Arthur John "Artty" Graziani, 55, of Pittsburgh, PA passed away suddenly on August 10, 2025, doing what he loved to do-walking his dogs in the woods.

Artty was born in New Castle on October 29, 1969, the third of four sons of Louise Melozzi Graziani and Andrew J. "Andy" Graziani. He was preceded in death by his mother. Art was a graduate of New Castle High School, and attended the University of Pittsburgh.

He had a long career as a banquet waiter at the Omni William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh, PA, where he was a proud and grateful union member. He was beloved by his William Penn "family."

Art had many passions in addition to his friends and family, but one of his great loves was animals that no one else wanted. He spent the last decade volunteering for animal welfare organizations, and traveled thousands of miles to rescue dogs and cats, some of whom he took into his own home. Artty always believed that every animal deserves a chance.

He was a loyal Pittburgh sports fan, and spent many summer nights with his nephew cheering on the Pirates, regardless of where they were in the standings.

In addition to his father, Artty is survived by three brothers, A. James Graziani, Matthew Graziani (Joan) and Alex Graziani (Eva), and multiple aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

A family member recently said that throughout his life, Art often said, "I'm a happy man." We tended to believe him, because it was true.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, August 20th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. New Castle, PA 16101. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, August 21at 10:30 a.m., Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church, 910 S. Mercer St., New Castle, PA 16101. Father Aaron Kriss will officiate. Entombment will be in Parkside Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cross Your Paws Rescue, 294 Donohoe Road, Greensburg, PA 15601.
