Arthur E. Green

Arthur Green passed away on February 8th at the age of 78 after a brief illness. He was born to Eldred and Elizabeth Green on June 20, 1947. He attended Chicago Public Schools and received his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from the University of Chicago. He began his career as a buyer for men's and boy's clothing at Goldblatt's Department Store until 1975 when he began his own marketing business until his retirement in 2012.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law David Donnelly.

He is survived by his wife, Julie Green, his son, Eugene "Pete" Green, his sister, Jane Donnelly (nee Green), his grandsons, Braden and Colton Green, brother/sister-in-law, Bill and Kathleen (nee King) Soucie, brother/sister-in-law, Jack and Annette (nee Soucie) Raithel, sisters-in-law Jeannine Soucie and Rosalia Ruiz de la Velasco and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Donations in his honor can be made to the Illinois Railway Museum, Union, IL., where he was a member for over 40 years.
