Arthur Hable Obituary
Arthur Ambrose “Art” Hable, age 74, of Bloomer, passed away on the family farmland, Sunday, April 28, 2024, with his family by his side.
Art was born October 1, 1949 on the home farm to Theodore and Ethel (Bischel) Hable. He attended Bloomer High School and graduated with the Class of 1968. Art married Ida Grill on January 25, 1969 and they later divorced. He then married Dawnette (Hillstrom) Warren in 2009.
Art started out on the dairy farm his parents owned. Then he worked as a laborer in construction and tended bar at Juniors and Hobble Inn. Art also worked at Falls Dairy, CTI Radiators, and was in the Labor Union 317.
In his younger days, Art owned and operated Hay Creek Rabbitry and Worm Farm. He was a member of the Lions Club and loved to charcoal chicken. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge and Rod and Gun Club. Art loved the outdoors, his garden and listening to the birds. Pork steak and a bonfire was also a specialty that always brought the family together.
Art is survived by wife: Dawnette Hable; children: Dalen Hable of Eau Claire, Jennifer (Russell) Odejewski, and Jessica (Giuliano Guardia) Hable both of Denver, CO; step-son: Douglas Warren; grandchildren: Clarice and Quentin Hable, and Kegan and Kya Odejewski; eight siblings: Donnie (Claudia) Hable, Jerry Hable, Helen Hagen, Eugene Hable, Rita Bellinger, Jane (Ken Holmes) Rosewood, Kenneth (Karla) Hable and Judy (Al) Nimtz; and also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Theodore and Ethel (Bischel) Hable; baby boy Hable; step-daughter: Amber Rose Warren; and two brothers: Norbert and Joseph Hable; siblings spouses: Lloyd Zwiefelhofer, Chuck Hagen and Bob Bellinger
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM on Saturday at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life will follow the service beginning at 12:30 PM at Birch Point Resort in Bloomer. Online condolences may be expressed at olsonfuneralhomebloomer.com
