Mr. Arthur Harris

Arthur was born in Charlottesville, Virginia. His parents were Arthur and Daisy Harris. Arthur got his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia in 1951. He worked for General Electric as a computer programmer. He worked for several years in England. Arthur was extremely intelligent and enjoyed working with computers. Arthur had a tremendous memory and was very well read. He enjoyed constant reading and learning about a multitude of topics. Arthur spent his retirement years living at Transitions Healthcare, Oakland Manor in Sykesville, Maryland. He is survived by his sister Wanda Jane Harris Blackwell and her children, nieces: BJ Blackwell Thomas, Brenda Blackwell Mussman, and Bambi Blackwell, and nephew Brian Blackwell. He is also survived by several great nieces and great nephews. A private memorial will be held at a later time by his family.
