Arthur E. Hobson

Arthur E. Hobson, 85, passed away on May 25, 2023. Beloved husband of 67 years to Geneva; loving father to Steven (Eva Camacho) Hobson, Cheryl (Guy) Schilke, and Denise (Daniel) Morrison; cherished grandfather to Amy (Jason) Wohlers and Lea Schilke and great-grandfather to Quinn and Blake; dear brother to Jerry (Donna) Hobson and uncle and friend to many. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents Lieutenant and Marie Hobson and his granddaughter Stephanie Hobson.
Art loved being up at his cottage in Wisconsin, on the beach or on the boat. He was known as the "Hotdog Man" at the "Hotdog Beach". Arthur would grill about 4 dozen hotdogs and pass them out on holiday weekends. He loved spending his time up there with his family.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 4-8 pm at Countryside Funeral Home, 333 S. Roselle Rd. Roselle, IL.
On Thursday, June 1, 2023, a visitation will be held from 9:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at Torkelson Funeral Home, 230 South Main Street, Necedah, WI 54646. Interment Bayview Cemetery, Necedah, WI. For information: 630-529-5751
