Arthur Kidd Obituary

Arthur William Kidd, passed away September 14, 2023. He was born February 26, 1944 in Oceanport NJ. He was the eldest son of Arthur Gordon Kidd and Hazel Lewis Kidd. He was a Graduate of Christian Brothers Academy, Middletown, New Jersey.
Arthur Joined the Navy during Viet Nam Conflict and served as Navy Corpsman attached to 3rd Marine Division searchlight battery at Dong Ha, Viet Nam. Upon his return from Viet Nam, attended George Washington University and worked as a Physicians Assistant at George Washington University Hospital Emergency Room. He worked as Quality Control Engineer upon graduation from George Washington University.
He retired to Fort Smith in 2010, and he was an avid model railroader, and a Ham radio operator. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.
He is survived by his sister, Cynthia Kidd Apfelbaum, Ocean, NJ; and by brothers Douglas Kidd, Vienna, VA; and Walter K Kidd, Tampa, FL.
Graveside service will be 1:00 PM Monday, September 18, 2023 at U. S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
