Arthur McCaffrey Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Arthur P. and Margaret F. (Murtaugh) McCaffrey. Arthur was the beloved father of Michael A. McCaffrey and Joan M. Scully (Dan); loving grandfather of Ryan, Brenna, Jake, Erin, and Ted; loving great-grandfather of Mila and Crue. He was the brother of the late Linda C. McCaffrey.
Arthur was a truck driver and a member of Teamsters Local 251. He also served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
His visitation will be held Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 9-10am, with a service at 10am in the Thomas and Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, RI. He will be laid to rest with military honors in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, RI.
