Mary Kate was the beloved daughter of Glenn McCaffrey and Juliet McCaffrey, and cherished sister to Drew McCaffrey (Robin). She was also a devoted mother to her daughter, Madison Allen.
A memorial service to celebrate Mary Kate's life will be held at Northside Church in Rome, GA, with the time and date to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Floyd Felines, P.O. Box 2364 Rome, GA 30164, to continue the important work that Mary Kate was so passionate about.

I can't wrap my head around a world without Mary Kate in it. There was no more selfless, vibrant, caring person than she was. A fierce advocate for all things furry - especially cats - she also wrapped her big heart around her beloved family and a legion of friends.
I'm honored to have been among those friends for decades, although my kids and I considered her part of our family.
She was "Cake" to us (her nickname), godmother to my youngest son, and I will always be grateful to have been in her orbit. Her passion may have been the two feline rescues that she co-founded, but she rescued me more times than I can count.
Loyal. Compassionate. Energetic. Determined. There really aren't enough words to describe her, or what I will miss about her; her laugh, for sure.
Go with God, Cake - in peace and without pain at last.
