Arthur R. Minck Sr.

Minck, Arthur R, Sr., age 98 of Union City, on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
Born in Union City, Arthur had resided in Union City almost all of his life. He spent his last 15 years as a resident of the Christian Healthcare Center. At Christian Healthcare, Arthur enjoyed visiting other residents of the Center and became well known for passing out Tootsie Pops to people throughout the Center's rehab wing.
Arthur a U.S. Navy veteran and was the former president of the Peterman Beverage Company in Union City. He enjoyed bicycling and gardening. Arthur loved painting by numbers and was an avid volunteer.
Arthur R. Minck, Sr. was the beloved father of Arthur Minck, Jr. and his wife Jean of Titusville, FL, Stephen J. Minck of Erwinna, PA, and Ruthanne Ciotti and her husband Thomas of Franklin Lakes. Dear grandfather of Stefanie Minck, Zachary Minck, Lisa Minck, Benjamin Ciotti and his wife Jessica, and Emily Stanley and her husband Timothy. Great grandfather of Trenton, Edison, Logan, Stephen, Isabet, Emma, Gideon, Lydia, Hannah, Silas, and Angelina. Brother of the late Warren, Everett, and Robert Minck. Arthur is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00noon, on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne. Interment will follow at the George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday morning, prior to the service, from 10:30am to 12:00noon.
In lieu of flower, memorial donations can be made to the Christian Healthcare Center, Cedar Hill Reformed Church of Wyckoff.
