Artie will be dearly missed by his hundreds of veteran friends and their families. He gave his all to finding and remembering our POW/MIAs. He was a formidable driving force supporting veterans causes including the Vietnam Women's Memorial Foundation and our efforts to honor the military and civilian women who served in support of our Armed Forces. Peace to you, Artie - you fought the good fight every day. Peace to your family. On behalf of the Vietnam Women's Memorial, I send Elaine and your family our heartfelt sympathy. Diane Carlson Evans

Artie was a true patriot. He lived for fighting for the rights of veterans and continued to be a voice for those that never made it back to their families.
God bless him and sending prayers for strength to the family in this time of sorrow.
RIP Sergeant Muller

Artie touched my life and my world like very few others have ever done. His energy and love for Veterans and his fairness was so contagious! My heart is truly broken. Though, in our last conversation we talked about getting old and one day seeing those we loved that have gone before. He will be missed by so many. For having known Artie... I nor RT will ever be the same. God gave Artie a job to do and he did it!!
Heaven will not be the same! See you later, Artie my friend

I am truly saddened to learn of Artie's passing.
We met in 2013 at a Rolling Thunder event. Every year afterward, I had the chance to meet him in both Canada and the United States. He was happy to spend time with us, his "Little Canadian Brothers."
Many Canadians served in Vietnam and other wars like Desert Storm and Afghanistan. For him, we were all veterans; he also wanted to take care of us.
Respect, my brother.
You will always be with us, "I Remember."
