On May 10, 2025 Gloria Cavaluzzi-Borchert passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Gloria, the daughter of the late Fred and Evelyn (née Dawson) Cavaluzzi, was born in Morristown, NJ, raised in Bernardsville, NJ, and established her residence in Basking Ridge, NJ, in 1980. Gloria served as a medical billing agent in Morristown for many years prior to her retirement. She was actively involved with the Bernardsville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. In her leisure time, Gloria took pleasure in creating art, crocheting, knitting, and studying botany. Gloria is survived by her devoted husband, John E. Borchert, whom she married on October 22, 1994; her loving children, Albert LiCata and Deborah, along with her son-in-law, Anthony Rapone; three cherished step-sons, John, David, and Scott Borchert; two dear brothers, Fred and Michael Cavaluzzi; and nine adored grandchildren. Family and friends are welcome to attend a memorial visitation at the residence of the family on May 24, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, located at 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887.
