Arthur Edwin Perry Sr. passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 88. Born on October 23, 1936, in Bristol, CT, Arthur's life was a testament to the enduring power of love, family, and hard work.
Arthur's journey began as a young man in Bristol, where he honed his skills in woodworking and carpentry. His hands were not only tools of his trade but also instruments of creation, shaping wood into beautiful and functional pieces that brought joy to many. His work was more than a profession; it was a passion that he carried with him throughout his life, leaving a legacy of craftsmanship that will be admired for generations.
In the embrace of his family, Arthur found his greatest happiness. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Helen Perry, and remembered with love his late wife, Betty A. Perry. The strength of his heart was tested with the loss of his sons, John and Larry Perry, as well as his grandson, Michael Perry. Yet, through these trials, Arthur's love and resilience never wavered.
Arthur's legacy is carried on by his son, Arthur Perry Jr. (Linda Perry), daughter-in-law, Deborah Perry, and his grandchildren, Alex Perry, Jennifer Perry, Shelley Faulhaber (Derek), and Dawn Perry, and his great-grandchildren, Michael L. Perry, Charlie Faulhaber, and Allana Perry.
Arthur's love for travel took him to many places, but it was the journey, not the destination, that he cherished most. Each trip was an opportunity to explore, to learn, and to gather stories to share with his loved ones upon his return.
As we bid farewell to Arthur Edwin Perry Sr., we celebrate a life well-lived. A man of integrity, Arthur's influence extended beyond his family, touching the lives of all who knew him through his work, his generosity, and his unwavering spirit.
