Arthur Matthew (Matt) Quattro passed away on Wednesday March 13, 2024. He was the son of the
late Arthur (Pap) Quattro and Margaret Bomberger Quattro and brother to Frank (Jan) Quattro, David
(Renata) Quattro, and Fred (Nita) Quattro.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Frances Quattro. He is the father to Steven Quattro (Lisa
Quattro), Diana Kingsbury (David Kingsbury) and Christopher (Ashley Lawson Quattro). He is
grandfather to Jessica, Rachel and Lucas (Alicia) Quattro and Matthew (Olga) and Timothy Kingsbury.
He is great grandfather to David Matthew Kingsbury.
Matt was born in Thomas, WV. He attended West Virginia University, earning a BS in Civil Engineering.
His career with Chevron lasted 33 years and took him across the country from New Jersey to Arizona.
He had many other jobs including engineer for Horizon Soil Consulting. He was extremely involved in
his church and his community in ways too numerous to list including serving on the Board of Directors
of Miners and Merchants Bank and with the Knights of Columbus.
Matt was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle and friend. He will
be greatly missed.
A graveside service will be held in July for his immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to West Virginians for Life, 25 Canyon Road,
Morgantown, WV 26508 or the Knights of Columbus, St. Thomas Aquinas Church, P.O. Box 300,Thomas, WV 26292.
