Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on April 5, 2025 to be in Jehovah's memory, eagerly awaiting the promised resurrection.
Arthur was born on February 15, 1943, in Antonito, Colorado, to Jose and Rubistina (Dupont) Ruybal.
Arthur's life began as a miracle-he was born prematurely at just three pounds, defying all odds. He was married to his longtime sweetheart, Francis, on November 19, 1971. Together, they shared many happy years, building a beautiful family.
A faithful servant of Jehovah, Arthur lived his life enduring in faith, always sharing the good news of God's Kingdom with all who would listen. He found great joy in talking to others about Jehovah's promise. Arthur was also a talented musician and entertainer, known for his love of country, rock, and Spanish music. His pride and joy was the creation of his CD, "Songs from the Heart."
Arthur enjoyed many hobbies including spending time in the mountains, camping, fishing, gardening, and cooking. He especially treasured the moments spent with his loving family, and he loved his two dogs, Dusky and Sheila, who were his constant companions.
Arthur worked in various fields, including as a construction worker, mechanic, and mine worker. However, he is most fondly remembered for his work as a professional driver for Red Willow, where he enjoyed driving and connecting with his clients.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 47 years, Francis Lucia Ruybal, as well as his parents, Jose and Rubistina (Dupont) Ruybal, and siblings Lee Dupont, Freddie Ruybal, Leona Lucero, Pauline Duran, Lawrence Ruybal, Robert Ruybal, and Margaret Lujan.
Arthur is survived by his children, Sandy (John) Medina, Laura Cordova (Robert Taylor), Judith Ruybal, and AJ (Milecel) Ruybal, along with six grandchildren: Ashley Medina, Jonathan Medina, Brandy Medina, Jacob Medina, Caitlin Cordova, and Jeremy Cordova. He also leaves behind 15 great-grandchildren, his sister Anne Stewart, and numerous nieces and nephews. His special nephew Joe Duran, who was like his little brother.
A memorial service to celebrate Arthur's life will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1225 Lake Plaza Drive,
Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Arthur will be dearly missed by all who knew him, and his faith in Jehovah's promise of resurrection will continue to inspire his family and friends.
