Asher Knox Deese, 3, of Fruitdale, AL passed from this life Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Mobile, AL on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, to Derrick Kody Deese and Autumn Lea Horton.
Asher Knox is survived by his loving parents and best friends, Derrick Kody Deese of Fruitdale, AL and Autumn Lea Horton of Mobile, AL; grandparents, Cristen Ward (Robert) of Mobile, AL, Mark Horton of Grand Bay, AL, Nancy Garris Deese of State Line, MS, and John Deese (Jacquelyn) of Yellow Pine, AL; great grandparents, Pamela Johnson, Bobby Welford (Zarah), both of Mobile, AL, Joyce Sholar of Grand Bay, AL, and Thelma Garris (Darryl) of State Line, MS; aunts and uncles, Zachary Ward (Carly), Trent Horton (Shelby), both Mobile, AL, Kendall Deese (Bethany) of State Line, MS, Layne Deese (Makenzie) of Yellow Pine, AL, Todd Blackmon (Shae) of Saraland, AL, and Ryan Graham (Alexandria) of Mobile, AL; honorary grandfather, Chris Baker of Mobile, AL.
Visitation for Asher Knox will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 20, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Josh Green and Rev. Michael Stevenson officiating. Interment will be in Grace Williams Cemetery in Fruitdale, AL. Every morning Asher Knox opened his eyes the very first thing he would ask his mom and dad was to dress him in blue jeans, boots, and a cool shirt, so they are asking those in attendance of Asher's services to do the same.
