Ashley Wayne Bowman, 57, passed away on April 30, 2024 in Wichita. He was born on June 2, 1966 to Don and Linda Bowman. He grew up in Coldwater, Kansas. He graduated from high school in Guymon, Oklahoma in 1984. He went to vo-tech and studied diesel mechanics in Liberal, Kansas in 1985. Ashley married Mikki Stump in 1986 in Guymon, Oklahoma. He had many careers throughout life, such as: a farmer, mechanic, and rancher. He finished his career in the oil field. Throughout his life he was always an outdoorsman. He loved taking things apart and putting them back together. Even as a boy, he would tear up his Tonka trucks and say he was "modifying" them.
Ashley is survived by his sons, Erik Bowman of Winfield, KS and Michael Bowman of Osh Kosh, WI; sister, Joyce (Larry) Latham of Abilene, KS; mother, Linda Bowman of Wichita, KS; nephews, Jacob Latham of Little Rock, AR and Tim and James Neal of Tulsa, OK; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A time to visit with family will take place on May 6 from 1-3pm at Broadway Mortuary. Ashley would have requested that anyone attending this come in casual dress.
