Ashley Nichole Lowery McCoy, age 25, went home to be with the Lord on December 11, 2025, Ashley was born in Richmond, Kentucky on June 5, 2000, Ashley was a member of Revival Hope Tabernacle Church in Richmond, Kentucky. She was known for her willingness to help others and being full of life. Ashley also loved spending time with family and friends and never met a stranger. In her free time Ashley loved to cook and help feed the homeless. Ashley loved horses and cats along with coloring. Ashley is described as a kid at heart with a caring spirit who loved kids especially her nieces and nephews.
Ashley is survived by her husband Johnathan McCoy, Her Parents Dallas Cope of Mt.Vernon. Kentucky and Paula Lowery (Billy) Carrier of Wilmore, Kentucky. Two siblings, Brittany (Dakota Carrier) Ison, and James (Madison Sparks) Ison. Maternal Grandmother, Ruth Lowery Perkins of Richmond, Kentucky. Paternal Grandparents, Bobbie Joe and James "Shorty" Cope of Mt.Vernon, Kentucky. Maternal uncle Bobby (Connie Arthur) Lowery, of Mckee, Kentucky. Maternal Aunts, Valerie Mullins and Katrina Ferral of Berea, Kentucky, and Linda Lowery of Mt.Vernon Kentucky. Paternal Aunts Dominique (Tim Crabtree) Cope of Mt.Vernon, Kentucky, Rene (Rick Johnson) Cope of Tennessee. Paternal uncle, Jason Cope of Mt.Vernon, Kentucky, Special cousin, Jessica Faith Lowery along with many Cousins and Friends also survive.
Ashley was proceeded in death maternal Grandfather, Paul Lowery Sr., and her uncle Paul Lowery Jr.
Visitation will be held Thursday December 18, 2025, at Revival Hope Tabernacle after 6pm. Funeral services will follow on Friday December 19, 2025, at 12pm noon with Rev. Walker Rhodus officiating. Burial will follow at Madison County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Bobby Lowery, James Ison, Billy Carrier, Dallas Cope, Dakota Carrier and Shorty Cope.
