Aubrey Lee Pitts, 45, of Greeley, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025. She was born May 1, 1979, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Richard E. Baker and Susan M. (Thomas) Baker. Aubrey spent her early years in Omaha before moving to Colorado, where she eventually made Greeley her home.
She graduated from Greeley Central High School in 1997 and pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Colorado, a Master's degree from Regis University, and a second Master's degree from the University of Northern Colorado.
On, October 26, 2009 Aubrey married Walter Pitts, with whom she built a beautiful life.
A dedicated and compassionate healthcare provider, Aubrey worked for 21 years at North Colorado Medical Center mostly as a Registered Nurse and the last 5 years as a Nurse Practitioner and was the proud owner of Infinite Wellness, where she helped countless individuals with their health and well-being. She was also a traveling Nurse Practitioner.
Aubrey had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed hiking, four-wheeling, paddleboarding, and playing softball. She also found joy in working out, gardening, and she enjoyed hosting parties, spending time with her family, and playing games, especially board games.
Aubrey's selflessness extended beyond her time on Earth. As an organ donor, she gave the gift of life to others, and nearly 400 people attended her Honor Walk at North Colorado Medical Center to pay their respects.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Pitts of Greeley; her children, Austen Blevins of Greeley, Madysen Blevins and husband Kyle Caesar of Greeley, and Kylee Blevins of Greeley; her brother, Richard Baker of Greeley; her nephew, R.J. Baker of Greeley; her parents Susan Baker and husband Steve Polland of Evans, and Richard and Sandra Baker of Hanna, Wyoming. She was eagerly anticipating the arrival of her first granddaughter, expected in June.
A Life Celebration will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 10, 2025 at Adamson Life Celebration Home, with interment a Sunset Memorial Gardens.

I worked with Aubrey and Walt in the pre-op/pacu surgery area of NCMC. They both worked in surgery. Both of them were/are great nurses and very caring people. I remember when they started dating and then married. I was so happy that they had found each other and chose to make a life for themselves along with their children. God loves them. I know this in my heart. I am sorry for the loss of Aubrey and sorry to hear that Walt is in critical condition because of this very tragic accident. May the Lord bring comfort, love, and forgiveness to Walt and the rest of the family.
