Kathleen Sue "Katie" Drewer

Katie Drewer, born Katie Slonksnes, passed away on September 14th 2025 at the age of 75. Katie was born in Greeley CO on June 30th 1950 to Adam and Mildred Slonksnes of Greeley CO. She is survived by her husband Darrell Drewer. Sister and husband Joanne & Chris Tilley of Greeley, Bother and wife Adam & Kim Slonksnes of Hot Springs South Dakota.

Katie was blessed to have a very large family of aunt's uncles and cousins that spent so much time together doing so many things, camping, BBQs, holidays and so many family gatherings.

Katie and Darrell lived in Eaton Colorado for 14 years where she worked at NAPA Auto Parts for Alan Gould as a parts delivery driver. After moving to Greeley she began working at Rogers Automotive for Mike Rogers until her health forced her to retire. She loved being a parts driver and all of the customers she met over the years.

Katie attended Greeley Central High school and later Greeley West she had a remarkable talent for remembering teachers and friends from all of the schools she attended.

Katie and Darrell were married on December 31st 1996. After meeting each other and living together since 1982. They enjoyed each other's companionship for 43 years. This included a great amount of life stories. Camping and fishing was always one of her favorite hobbies. Riding motorcycle together and then, riding her own motorcycle. Katie, family and friends spent a number of years camping and boating at Lake Powell, later traveling to Mexico for fun in the sun on the beach became her favorite hobby.

A memorial and service will be held September 25th 2025 at 11:00 am at Adamson, 2000 47th Ave, Greeley CO 80634.
