Audra Lynn Yates, 57

Audra Lynn Yates died July 22, 2025. She was born on April 28, 1968 in Okeechobee, Florida to Charles James Stevens and Edna Gurtin. A lifetime resident of Okeechobee, she enjoyed spending time with family, horseback riding, going to the beach and fishing.

Mrs. Yates was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Gurtin; and stepdaughter. Nikki Yates.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 17 years, Shoney Yates, of Okeechobee, Florida; son, Chase Yates, of Okeechobee, Florida; daughters, Ashley Kent and Wanda O'Shields, all of Okeechobee, Florida; five grandchildren; sister, Megan Yates and Dawn Brown, both of Okeechobee, Florida; and other special family members, Caleb Yates, Valerie Yates, Harmony Yates, and Aaliyah Yates, all of Okeechobee, Florida.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
