Audrey Louise Arnold

Audrey Louise Arnold, 61, wife of 37 years and best friend of many more to John Arnold, passed away May 15, 2024, at Baptist Health – Lexington. Born Jan. 18, 1963, in Kansas City, MO, Audrey was the daughter of Frances Louise Maupin James and the late Samuel Glenn James.
Audrey was the most caring person to have ever walked the earth. From her family and her friends to those she had never even met, her compassion and love for life knew no bounds. She was an avid music enjoyer, advocate for peace, nature photographer, and nothing meant more to her than getting to spend time with her family - preferably with a good view of the mountains in the distance. She wanted everyone that she came across to seek enjoyment in their lives and find the good in everything.
She spent most of her time taking care of her immediate family and was the primary caretaker for many years for her late uncle William E. James before transitioning to doing the same for her 96-year-old mother. She is preceded in death by her father Samuel James and her brother Norman James.
In addition to Frances and John, she is survived by her two sons James and Jacob Arnold, as well as her beloved dogs Penny and Shelly. She was very close with her sister-in-law Rita Fromm and brother-in-law Paul Arnold.
Visitation will be 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 3421 Harrodsburg Rd., Lexington, KY 40513.
