Audrey Barrios

Audrey Allemand Barrios, 71, a native of Larose and resident of Lockport, died at 10 a.m. Friday, May 31, 2013. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Holy Savior Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Donald Patrick Barrios; children, Aaron Barrios (Dena), Brian Barrios (Brenda), Letia Clement (Jimmy), Monica Barrios, Nanette Barrios, and Chad Barrios (Heather); grandchildren, Josh, Megan, Brooke, Jeremy, Jace, Justin, Jessica, Julie, Grant, Jada, Hayden, Logan, Elise and Jimmy; and great-grandchildren, Peyton and Jayce. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lelia Punch Allemand. She was a devout Catholic and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 3054 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing softball, volleyball, horseshoes and cards. She also enjoyed her trips to the casino. She especially enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. The family would like to thank Thibodaux Regional Medical Center for providing wonderful and compassionate care. The family would also like to give a special thanks to Dr. Jameel and her home health nurse, Johnna Le. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society . Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
